We are Kind of Busy now Close


Before you get krankin' on this close, 
you had better be the kind of salesperson who knows how to completely control your emotions.   

This close is not for the faint of heart, 
so you had better have a complete Poker Face 
and great Tonality to deliver it properly.  

This kind of closing technique is somewhat of a takeaway close, and if you deliver it wrong, 
you can just start packing up your stuff.
This one will take some practice on your part.  
Before attempting this on an actual live customer, 
I suggest you practice with someone in your office, 
or even your spouse.  
Reminder, practicing on your spouse is great, he or she knows that in order for you to BRING HOME THE BACON, 
you need to know your stuff.  
They typically will be a great critic, on your progress.

You as the salesperson, must completely act as though you could literally care less if this person purchases from you or not.  You must show no emotion here whatsoever.  
You must be respectful, however, you must have the 
"IT'S NO BIGGIE if you don't want this," air about you.

Remember this is a takeaway close, and you must present it as though you and your company are swamped with work at the moment.

One more time, you need to deliver this in a 
"MATTER OF FACT" or in a "its NO BIG DEAL" 
manner of speaking. If you don't, it will not work.

Here is how you do it.

"Mr. Customer, I have another client that I need to get to shortly, and they are a bit of a drive from here, so I am going to have to wrap this up with you. I know that our product is exactly what you want and need. I however have an issue. 
We are simply the very best at what we do, and due to our current scheduling issues, I am not sure that we can actually take care of this for you.  
I'm sure you have done your research about us, 
we have worked quite hard on our reputation, 
and it literally proceeds us.  
How flexible are you on your schedule?"

CALMLY, WAIT FOR THE ANSWER.

"Well Mr. Customer, if you want the project done right, I again understand, why you would want us to do it.  
I am not making you any guarantees here, but let me speak with the owner to see just how quickly I can get this done for you.  
I will tell you this however, if he says we can do this within the next 2 weeks, you need to jump on it right away.  
Our booking schedule keeps growing, and if you want it done as soon as we can, we would need to take care of it while I am here. Make sense?  
Ok, let me call the Big Guy and see what he says about this."

If you have set this up properly, and delivered it with the 
I could care less attitude, this will be one of the most effective closes you can use to close deals.  

As I stated previously, 
you need to practice this one.
